"You should look into buying a roll of Vet Wrap (http://www.amazon.com/Gifted-Horse-Vet-Wrap/dp/B0002V47L0) for example. It will wrap around the pod and keep it secure. Very cheap. By the way the human version is the same and costs about 10x more..."

Pod Placement and Football

We start football next week with full gear and pads.  So, where do we put the pod to minimize the impact that it will take?  Any suggestions from anyone with experience would be a great help. Thanks in advance!See More

Would you mind sharing with me the contact information for your OmniPod rep? I've been trying, with no luck so far, to talk to someone close to Insulet engineering about the possibility of working on Mac-compatible software. It sounds like your rep might be able to help me get in touch with the right person.
Thanks,
Eric

Just saw your post on the omnipod forum. I was diagnosed at age 11, dis shots for 8 years, Minimed pumps for 4-5, and am now on the omnipod since dec last year. I would reply but figured a phone call might be better. I live in cental time zone and should be available to call tomorrow evening after about 5 or 5:30. I'm more than happy to chat about my experiences and it sounds like your son has a very independent attitude like I did. :-) my cell is 405-664-7223. If you choose to call, I look forward to talking with you!
