If you have the Ping and the integration does happen with the 2020, Animas has a trade-in program (per my rep).
November 3
On the CWD website one of the moms spoke with a Rep, and the reps supervisor, and according to them Dexcom integration was sent to FDA using the 2020. Apparently, approval would happen faster with the 2020 so they went with it. No word on when the...

The 2020 is basically being phased out as the new pumps are called the Animas Ping and One Touch, pretty much the same thing. My local Ping rep had given me a full demonstration and heads up about the integration. It should be awesome, and I think...

Just a little side not on the Animas CGMS Integration. It is not going to be linked with the Ping, but instead with the 2020.

Try and get a "hands on" in-home demo of both the Ping and the MM pumps. Do as much research as you can about them on line (at the manufacturers sites). Try out their virtual pumps (both companies offer them on line). Still...nothing beats having...

I don't think that you can go wrong with the Animas Ping. It allows you to use a remote so I think that is a great feature. It doesn't link to a CGM yet, but it will be working with one of them very shortly.

ok I have to update this. The cgm sucks If given the choice now I would choose animas without a second thought.

Pump Delivery!

I ordered my pump put and im not sure when its going to come. Can anyone tell me how long a pump usually takes to get to your house? I just ordered mine but I still want to know when it will get here. Some people told me 3 weeks and others said one week. It seems like such a looonnnggg time for it to come. Im sooo impatient and im driving my mom crazy about it!

PuMp ChOiCe

I have to decide which pump im going within two weeks. Im going to a team meeting May 5 and at that meeting i need to order a pump. Im choosing between the Animas Ping or the Minimed Paradigm. Both of their reps came to my house so ive seen and played with both of the pumps. Im leaning more towards the Animas because I feel that its built more for kids. Does any have an expriences with either one? Thanks so much!

when i was talking to a rep
about the dexcom/animas partnership
he didnt say much.
he just said dexcom has their own thing
if i wanted to check it out.
so i was kind of disappointed he didnt have much else to say.

but i am anxious to see what they will come out with!
i check my sugars a TON and i really think a CGMS
would really help me stop being so paranoid.

hey nicolette,
i decided to go with the animas one touch ping :)
i have actually already recieved mine
right now i am just waiting for the rep to call me
and set up a training date-
this is required before i begin to use my pump.
minimed with the CGMS was my first choice.
but only for the integrated CGMS.
i like the idea of the meter/remote
and decided to go with animas :)

let me know how everything goes.

take care
