"Nope! Not on Metformin. I am feeling much better having my fattier meals earlier in the day. No fatty late night snacks anymore seems to be working. Thank you for all the advice everyone."

"I've been very low carb for one week. My bs readings are 90-140 after being 300-500. To me, that is remarkable. I'm a second grade teacher, so I have the usual "teacher stress." My meds haven't changed since going low carb.…"

"Hey there Nini. Need a lot more info to advise. Is this since you went low carb. What are you eating. What is your environment. Is there excess stress. Are you on meds, and, if so, for how long and which ones. Too many possibilities....."

Bolthouse Farms

Hi,In a pinch, I had to drink their Green smoothie instead of making my own green smoothies. (I was away from my kitchen for the weekend.) It is flash-pasteurized and cold-pressed. Does anyone know how "unraw" this product is? I actually had more energy on it than after my own smoothies. Thanks,NiniSee More

Nini- This is a terrific site for you to find out about diabetic eating.   There are lots of groups you can join that talk about various eating methods.  The members here are very knowledgeable in every aspect of D care.  You will  get more info than you can get from your doctor.
