Hello,Nyachin, Greeings from a 91 young insulin-dependent, from CANADA,where INSULIN was discovered by DRS.BANTING& BEST, JULY 30 1921. I was clinically dead, in Boston, in 1977, with a BG of 880, since then have been a ROLE MODEL to over 40,000 diabetics.A coputer rookie have found a wat to mentor to members who live in areas high in diabetes, but low in info.As a member of a LIONS CLUB, I suggest these members contact their local LIONS CLUB, they have an excellent diabetes prevention & awareness program. I am asking insulin-users, worldwide, to call 5 DIABETICS and have them, join me, in silence, JULY 30 INSULIN APPRECIATION BAY, and say THANKS FOR INSULIN, giving hundreds of millions of US a chance to live healthy and productive lives TODAY. The AMIGOS will be selling BLUE ROSES that day to support, www.restorethebantinghomestead,com The meaning of this flower,is our mission & motto, "ATTAINING THE IMPOSSIBLE" My advice to you and your contacts, is 1. have a good diabetes team (diabetic specialist, dietian, podiatrist, social worker, pharmacist), 2 wear a MEDIC-ALERT, identification, it SPEAKS, FOR YOU IN CASE OF EMERGENCY, 3 listen to your BODY, it tells you when to eat, what to eat, snack, EXERCISE, rest, sleep. 4. have a DIABETIC BUDDY someone you are in contact with, EVERYDAY,they could SAVE YOUR LIFE, Why don you set up a diabetes support group in your area? Keep in touch A 91 WHO IS GOING TO wear out, NOT rust out, clarence.haynes@sympatico.ca

Hi There Nyachin:

Good Heavens. Poor Lois. I don't know her but I read some of her answers and she sounded like she has a Good sense of humour and a Big heart. She's not on my Friend's list but I'll put her on and send her a message. Thank you for relaying Sarah's message.

How are you doing Nyachin? Is School going okay? I hope that you are doing Well there. I enjoyed high school except for Algebra and some of the home work. Well, you'll be out soon for the holidays. It's Great to get a break away sometimes. Are you doing anything Special during the summer? Feel Well.

just plain wierd

today has been so weird but then again most days are, so here is what happened:
i wok up with a sugar of 304.2 which was really bad so i tried to bring that down. The next time i checked it was 1 hour later and then it was 351,so i was freaking out as usual. It then came down to 189, which was still bad but still better than before. Then it was 232.2, and now it is 106.2, and i have noo idea how i reached that, its kinda scary but weird at the same time...
