Went to the doctor today and as I had suspected, I do have the neuropothy in my feet and hands. Just what I needed! I chose not to treat it with anything but the pain meds I take for my arthritis at this time, as I don't need to gain MORE weight and she said that medication does cause that. I need to loose about 100 lbs, and am really struggling with that! Just seems like more and more is being piled on... really gets depressing sometimes! I feel soooo tired! Like I could lay down and sleep f

I am having such a yukky week! The rain just doesn't seem to want to quit here in Oklahoma and with rain comes the constant pain of my arthritis and also allergies to mold... sure makes me feel SICK even though I'm not really "sick"! Does that make sense? My sugars have been going up and down like a roller coaster, as well, which I guess is par for the course. I've been posting at sugarstats.com and my average is 156... I especially did when I was younger & healthier... Taking the kids to the pool, the zoo, and all the other fun things you do when your kids are little... Now my days tend to be spent inside under the COOL A/C reading a book, watching a movie, scrapbooking, or playing on the computer. I do try to go outside in t

I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes this past February when I entered the hospital in critical condition with pneumonia. My sugar count ran way over 400 for about 2 weeks.... I ended up with 2 stays in the hospital, the first for 11 days and the 2nd for 7 days... When I came home, I was on insu
