How do you hope to benefit from TuDiabetes?: Finding people who understand how stressful type 1-is! Info/friends/CURE!!

Date diagnosed: July 30, 1993

Most recent HbA1C %, date of result (optional): 5.9!!

Type of treatment/devices you use: Pump, Diet and Exercise

What pump model do you use, if any?: MEDTRONIC~MINIMED~PARADIGM~CLEAR~PUMP!!

I wanted to share something with all of you! A few months ago, I was feeling drained and worn out every day. With my chronic rheumatoid-arthritis in my feet...by the end of my day....i was exhausted!! Then, a friend turned me onto MonaVie and my life has changed so much!
I have ALOT more energy throughout the day, and best of all, my pain is almost gone on a daily basis.
Just 4 oz. a day... is all I take and my days are fabulous!
I urge you to take a look at the website below and if you have any questions, feel free to ask me! It truly is an amazing product.. If it does the trick for me..w/Type 1 DIABETES.... & after 3 major back surgeries, rheumatoid arthritis, & migraines....

I've been on a pump for about 14 years now, and you couldn't pay me enough to go back to injections! Usually the only time I skyrocket is when I have a pinch in my cannula. My last appt. with my endo. went well. He ordered a GlycoMark blood test for me next time I come in, which I've not had before. Have you had one? Evidently it is a test that measures your bs variance, so it gives him a more accurate view of my a1c results. For instance, if my a1c is 7.0, am I a consistent 7.0, or do I vary from lower to higher, and that is just the between number. He says he has been ordering that test more frequently and feels it is almost as important a gauge as the a1c. We shall see. Have a great weekend!

Should've just changed it right away after I went unexplainedly (is that even a word?), but I second guessed myself. Hate when I do that, especially since I see my endo this Monday and he will wonder what happened! He never gives me any guilt trip though, so not sure why I'm worrying about it. You ever worry about stuff like that?

My Diabetes and I are doing rather well at the moment. I have discovered the dual wave setting on the pump and it has truly changed my Diabetes management all together. I want to scream (the above) this from the top of my roof so every insulin dependent diabetic can have the same results I have.
