My CDE has mixed feelings about the vaccine because of the rush to get it out. I get the sense from my OB and perinatalogist that it's highly recommended, so I've been feeling torn about it. I had the regular flu shot in mid-Sept and it didn't hur...

Have you tried wiping the IV prep over the top of the silhousettes after insertion? This really helps me. I really saturate it and then when it dries I don't have a problem.
