That's great that you're working out so much! I wish I could say the same. I'm working on it though! My biggest problem right now seems to be extreme fatigue which keeps me from exercising as much as I want to. I thought for sure it was a thyroid issue but that keeps coming back fine. I had a low Vit D level and was given a RX for that. It seems to be helping somewhat but not as much as I had hoped. I'm working on the lower carb meals too eating a lot more salads!! Luckily I love salads! :)

I'm sure your A1C will improve from where you want it especially doing the low carb and working out so much!! I know how disappointing it can be to have your A1C go up though when it's been good before!! I've done the same thing many times! Actually I have my followup this week so I will be having my A1C checked and am hoping for a good number as well because I've been really working on getting good numbers the past few months!

As to the Omnipod..it wasn't that I didn't like it. When it worked I loved it. It just didn't work as consistantly as it needed to. I almost ended up in the ER a couple times due to bad pods etc. when my blood sugars sky rocketed and I couldn't figure out was going on especially being new to pumping. But the cannula was always coming out or pods would malfunction and I just got tired of dealing with problems several times a month with it. I've had really good success with the MM so I'm happy.

I know where you are talking about with the Xerox center too. Were you doing something in the music industry during that time or something else?

It's nice to meet you too! Thanks for the friend request. How is everything going with your diabetes?? I see you're on the same insulin pump as I am. How long have you been on yours? I've been on the MM for about 2 yrs now and was on the Omnipod for about a year prior to that.
