A little bit about me..

I have been one of the luckiest people that I know. No, I didn't win the lotto, although that would help, I count friends and experiences far more than I count dollars. In my life, which I lived mostly disease free, I have visited 106 of the world's countires, and all seven continents (although I must say Antarctica is not my favorite--it comes close). I have met and enjoyed the company of people of many religious backgrounds, different languages, and customs, And after all of that, I have come… Continue

Hello! How's it going Paul...any questions/suggestions? Take a look at some of the groups available when you get a chance!

I am part of the Welcome Committee and was just checking in on you to make sure you are aware of all that TuDiabetes has to offer. We would love to hear from you so here is a helpful link where you can read about all the things you can do in the community.

But of course -- we are both the Boy, whose wishing made the rabbit Real, and the Fairy, who gave it Life. (It's so much more poetic than saying we're actors in the Heisenberg Uncertainty matrix of social interaction probabilities...)

Thanks! I lived in Lviv for a while, that's a little north of the Hungarian border, but the mountains sure are beautiful there! I took the train from Kiev to Prague many, many times, and I loved to ride overnight through the western mountians-although I hated it when we had to stop to change the wheels!

C ya! Paul

Hi Paul! That's so great that you spent time in Eastern Europe. It has changed SO much here since the days that USAID was active here. I guess everything would seem really different!

I lived in Western Ukraine for a year as well (in a small village near the Hungarian border).

Most of the same diabetes supplies are available here. But you need a prescription. The nice part is that the state covers almost 100% of diabetes supplies. So life here is more affordable for a person with diabetes!

If you decide to return for a visit, let me know!!!

Hey, Paul! I am pretty sure that was not a photo you got taken in Tarpon Springs! :D

Welcome to the TuDiabetes family. I used to live with my family in O-Town until January of this year. Lots of great memories living there.

Please help us spread the word about the community: Invite family, friends and others who can benefit from being a member.

Take care and keep that great A1C going!
