A little bit about me..

I have been one of the luckiest people that I know. No, I didn't win the lotto, although that would help, I count friends and experiences far more than I count dollars. In my life, which I lived mostly disease free, I have visited 106 of the world's countires, and all seven continents (although I must say Antarctica is not my favorite--it comes close). I took the train from Kiev to Prague many, many times, and I loved to ride overnight through the western mountians-although I hated it when we had to stop to change the wheels!

I lived in Western Ukraine for a year as well (in a small village near the Hungarian border).

Most of the same diabetes supplies are available here. But you need a prescription. The nice part is that the state covers almost 100% of diabetes supplies. So life here is more affordable for a person with diabetes!

If you decide to return for a visit, let me know!!!
