My bracelet

http://carememoryband.com/
This is the one piece jewelry of I like as you can keep many family members history on one unit. It is a lot more detailed history as well for those of us that have more than one problem. I actually made a necklace out of mine. It is encased in rubber which makes it great for those of us that are rough on stuff. Content will be displayed as an html file or a webpage that can be viewed on many devices and after you buy one of them can get a regular usb drive to make a copy for car, purse or whatever you need. All kinds out there for as little as $4.00 theses days the one on the bracelet is 256mb. I would advise that if you us a standard usb drive have a medical tag with it.

Multi-Injects

Posted on November 22, 2011 at 1:04pm 3 Comments

Looking for some ideas on multi-injections of different meds on a daily basis. I have been doing this for a long time but I am now having pain as there is only so much rotation that can be done. Times like today is one of the worst when a pen has plenty left in it and not enough for the dose so there is a double stick for that one type but I had this happen of two types there was 4 sticks this morning and then the last type only one so that is a total of 5 for breakfast so I have decided to… Continue

I used to be cheerleader in high school and saw those quarterbacks getting hit ... being carried off the field. They were the little guys too. And hockey seems like a boxing match on ice - with gloves off and blades for weapons. I got pretty good at some track events back when the Olympics was a much more modest medley of nations. I got to see a little bit of Mexico in 1968 but never actually competed. I was there in case another runner got hurt and (sigh) I was not able to trip any of the other girls - pretty agile, them athletes! Back then the entire body of competitors was roughly equivalent to the number of athletes Canada took to Beijing. I stood about a foot shorter than most of the East German/Russian girls. They brought in saliva testing that year! Ah... the good old days when bones would move and muscles worked - when carbs dissolved and colons collected. I remember those days... vaguely.

Well I'm in Canada so there aren't many guns around up here, but I'll see what I can find at Toys R Us! My hubby and I took ballroom dancing about 20 years ago. It was actually kinda cool to be just about the only dancers at a wedding/party who could do real dancing stuff. I just had to learn how to follow! We got pretty good at the Swing - great exercise too!
Football and fighting are so hard on the body. Why do men have to mangle themselves to prove their manhood? If I had my way . . . . (watch out!)

What kind of sports did you play. I was kind of a jockette in my younger years - liked track and baseball and volleyball - played them into my 40's (til I got sick) - did a lot of dancing too but you look more like a football player! :-) Can't really picture you dancing either :-)))

Sorry I am so slow in responding sometimes. I get busy at my work (out of my home office so there is no real escape!) & end up pooping out before I'm done typing! You said you were getting some complications from diabetes & you seem kinda young - in your photo. Young is subjective of course - but you look like you're in your late 30's or early 40's? I am probably way off, but it doesn't seem fair that a young fella has to deal with old fella problems so soon. How do people like Richard & Seagator manage so well for so long? That's a rhetorical question... just saying life ain't fair sometimes & I wish you were healthier longer to enjoy that youngster more!

Thanks for the friend invite. Let me know if you ever want me to drive that truck up to your face and wind up the ole ticker! I hate to leave all the fun parts to the 5 year old.
