Do I so worry you, you need to hurry to my side?
It's very kind
But it's to no avail; I don't want the bail
I promise you, everything will be just fine

If there was a better way to go then it would find me
I can't help it, the road just rolls out behind me
Be kind to me, or treat me mean
I'll make the most of it, I'm an extraordinary machine

PuMp FAiluRe

Sounds like the name of an 80s punk rock band. But it's not. It's just the way my day started this morning.

Oi!!

The blaring of the battery alarm woke me up from a dead sleep...

The pump screen is blank. Man. I put in a new battery on the off chance that this might help. It doesn't - the alarming continues. One call to Smiths and one call to the doctor and one call to CVS later - and I'm on Lantus until my new pump arrives. Damn it.

I really resent being dependent

Yoga Insanity

An oxymoron? I think not.

A 6 am class this morning kicked my butt.

As I tried to focus on staying centered, drawing breath, and strengthening/lengthening, a little voice in the back of my mind was screaming "Are you nuts? It's not even 7 am! What the hell are you doing to me? You're going to do what with that leg?" In at least one pose, it was all I could do to stifle a giggle as I tried to keep my form...

Thanks for the really encouraging blog comment Nicole! I'm still really new to D, so it helps to have people who are a bit further down the road tell me that everything is going to be OK. The Internet support network really rocks! It helps me so much, and I'm really grateful to Manny for setting it up.
