Dexcom G4 - anyone has issues wearing the sensor on the hips while sleeping? reading is good during the day but OFF at night

Hi,this is my 3rd day on the 4th sensor and I have been wearing it on my hips (by the love handles near the back). I'm in my 3rd trimester, so I sleep on the side and make sure I'm not pressing on the sensor when sleeping. However the readings from the last few nights are TOTALLY off - as you can imagine how annoying getting all those false alerts :(the receiver would show downward trends and goes 70, 60, 55, etc until it shows LOW but when I check my sugar, it's normal (ranges from 80-100). I…See More

"My son , Jesse.. although not planning on ever being pregnant, has never worn the sensor on his abdomen... always on his upper arm, on the outside area."

"I wear mine on my upper arm, near my shoulder.. sort of where your pocket book strap hits. It's very accurate, out of the way.. and off my tummy. Having my pump there is plenty for me."

Where do you wear your sensor during pregnancy?

Hello,Just wonder how you ladies wear the sensor with the bump. I read in the manual that you should wear the sensor on your abdomen but wouldn't that be uncomfortable when you get to 2nd/3rd trimester?am also concerned with the transmitter signals being so close to the baby..Would you suggest wearing on the thighs, arms or maybe behind my hip, wonder if it'll be less accurate on these sites?I also want to put a piece of Opsite Flex tape over the whole transmitter in case it falls off. Also…See More

"Dexcom told me not to calibrate too often. Most people I've spoken to say to calibrate as little as possible. Also, with the G4 you are not supposed to calibrate if you're showing double up or down arrows. This is different from the Seven."
