It helps me to get out and get my mind off of myself. It's really hard knowing that for the rest of your life you have to pay that close attention to what you eat. It makes me mad sometimes. I just try to let it go when it happens cause if I think...

I feel alot of guilt to, but not from the eating or messing up. I feel guilty about not being able to be well somedays. I feel like no one believes how hard this is. I feel like people are judging me all of the time. It's really hard. I'm glad you...

I know I can do better, I have just been under a lot of stress here lately, and it has been easier to eat what is handy...But, we will hopefully help each other and others, and learn from each other..

Hey there!
It must be hard if you feel judged even if you're doing your best!
Sometimes I just felt judged by others, but in fact i was judging myself...
If you show others that your d is the most normal thing in the world for you, their reactions sometimes change.
But there are always people who don't want or cannot understand... Don't let them get you down!

Love, Astrid.

Hi! I have to admit I have not really been trying to find other T2s right now. I am in the process of trying to find a job so that is where my focus has been. I would love to keep in contact and when things settle down some would love to get together.

To be honest, it depends on what you are looking to get out of it. Active is really intensive, even on beginner and is more structured. Fit plus seems a little bit more laid back, and doesn't have a set routine. It is a good break for the days that are rest days for Active tho. That way you are doing something at least.

R.L., thanks for the comment. You're right, it's a struggle all around. It seems just when we think we've got things under control, something seems to pop up to undermine our efforts or confidence. Whether it's diet, not being able to exercise or BG numbers inexplicably jumping or dropping. But we just have to keep at it I guess, considering what's at stake for each of us. This is a great place to come to get more info or just to see that we're by no means alone or unique. Most of all I think, it's nice to know that diabetes is not our fault, we just have to handle it as best we can. All the best R.L. and great pics btw.
