A little bit about me

I was diagnosed with type 1 in 2002 not even a year after i graduated high school. i had surgery in feb 2002 and ended up with type 1 with in a month due to the complications of it. I have been on the pump since july of 2007. Before they put me on the pump they told me they where not sure if it would help me or not since i was classified as a brittle diabetic and I have not had much luck with any treatments. I am desperately trying to figure things out and find a good endo not having any luck.… Continue

Hi Rachel! Let me know how the 6mm cannulas work for you. For me, it made all the difference. I had a few kinked cannulas and decided to switch and I haven't had one since then (a year ago!).

at 2:00 PM your local time on Saturday Nov 14, we are all going to test our blood and share the results - check it out here - we did this once before, and it was so much fun, that Manny has added a twist: after the 2PM test, we're supposed to go exercise for 14 minutes, test again, and share. I hope you can participate! We're doing it to bring some attention to diabetes awareness.
