i just noticed that we were diagnosed real close together. you in march and me in june of 04. i didn't take it real serious at first so now i have a bit of catching up to do. i wasn't computer savvy at the time and the doctor wasn't very forth coming on what i needed to know. so i guess i was ignorant and didn't know it. i have since learned a great deal and am trying to get a better hold on my numbers and lose some weight as well. it's scary, when you think about all the diabetics out there that have no clue and don't know they have no clue. i live in an area where there are no endo's, but the doctor i have now has taken the time to learn as much as he can and hires nurses with the training for diabetes. when they are stumped on something they immediately call an endo.
well anyway, welcome to TuD.
