A Little Bit About Me..
So I was diagnosed on January 5th 2007. Without a doubt it's been the single hardest struggle I've ever faced. Everyday is a new little challenge and quest to get those near perfect numbers. I think I'm fairly optomistic about the whole big D, I don't think of it constantly, it doesn't consume me and I still live my life.. But Its the first thing on my mind in the morning and the last thing before I fall asleeep, and any other spare time I get.
I have so many dreams, dreams that I want to make reality & others that I just want to dream of!
I'm drifting between physiotherapy & sports journalism as my serious successful career :)
I don't have the majorly supportive family that I can call on whenever, ask for help and off load the strain on to occasionaly, but hey nobody ever said life was perfect. They try.. Well I think they do. Just perhaps they could google it, read up on it, or perhaps ask every now and agaiin, or listen? Now theres a thought...
The family & friends, music, topshop, a jog anytime of the day, scrambled egg sandwiches, my blackberry, Manchester United & Wimbledon, blueberries and a bit of light banter always puts a smile on my facee ☺
My motto - Baby Steps Is The Key - I truely believe it.
I cant explain, you would not understand. This is not how I am. I have become comfortably numb..♪
One other thing.. I refuse to give up on my desire to see my grandchildren, walk hand in hand with my future husband, see how beautiful my first born will be, feel the cold air on my feet at night all because I didn't take care of myself x
And so the quest goes on...
I've got msn/hotmail.. Feel free to add me for a chat - email@example.com =)
