- Greetings Rebekah....you're a year older than my daughter....so I'm about your father's age I guess....I was diagnosed with type 2 a couple of years ago, but I think I had it long before that. I'm a thin type 2, so loosing weight wouldn't work for me....my father had diabetes, and his mother did also...it's actually on both sides of the family, both type 1 and 2.

My first ever blog - Filmaking, Campaigning and Living
as all of you shoul know by now, I am in the process of writing a film which will be filmed Summer 2009 about a group of people with type one diabetes. Thank you everyone for sharing your experiences. I will be including some of them in my film.
