Women in perimenopause need to be aware that heart palpitations which can be interpreted as heart disease as well as panic attacks can also be the result of hormone surges.. My monthly heart palps bring me high blood sugars. Not fun.

Thanks for your comment. Awesome! I agree 100%. If my huband wanted more children that would be one thing, but he was, how did you say, "snipped" and that is not an option. I can't wait for my monthly friend and I to have a tiff, and she go away! ...

Jason, thankyou so much for your comment. Hopefully, we as human beings can try to evolve, just a little bit more everyday. Then the ignorance and unwillingness to embrace reason will grow. good comment

I completely agree and plan on having my daughter vaccinated when she is older. It is sad that in the face of your advocacy is so much resistance, based mostly on ignorance and an unwillingness to embrace reason.

Today is better, I have decided not to go to the funeral or wake. I hate them and my husband and sons don't think it prudent of me to go. It would just cause me to much pain. Along with diabetes I have chronic Pancreatitis and stress brings on attacks. When my aunt died a little while ago, I went and dealing with the family garbage brought on an attack. I ended up on homecare for weeks. (for those who don't know, here in Ontario, Canada, we can have a nurse come in to do the same things as would be done in a hospital. At no cost to us. The great thing is you get better faster at home).
So I will listen to my husband and two adult sons (gee that makes me sound old.) and stay home and morn.
Thanks for listening, although I guess you really don't have a choice. lol

Not a happy day for me today. I just found out my grandmother died. She was old, but loved me unconditionally even though I was adopted and my adopted parents really don't want or like me anymore. My heart is breaking!!!

I am a Metis woman, who has been married to an awesome man named Thomas for the last 20 years. Who also has a familiar history of Diabetis, his date is insulin depend. I have 4 sons ages 22, 19, almost 18 and 5years old.
I got diabetis from chronic pancreatitis. How I got chronic pancreatitis is beyond me and any of my doctors. Be onset happend in 1997. This disease damaged those precious little cells in our pancreas's that produce insuline. I will write more later, I need to get to bed its one am.

Getting my sugar under control is harder than I thought!

Frustrating, ah ya! Just when I thought my sugar was good, it went and started to go crazy on me. Must be the heat because my diet, exercise and meds haven't changed! Talk about frustrating! And here I was diagnosed with an anxiety disorder and the whole time it was my sugars too high, and was mimiking panic attacks, go figure! lol. Well the summer is now here, to my joy with it's set of issues, but I wouldn't change the weather here for anything. Have a good summer! Rhonda

Cervical Cancer and HPV

What a month! First my grandmother dies on April second, now this past friday my dearest school friend died. She was only 42 like me. She had cancer, that began five years ago as cervical cancer. She has been silently fighting it for that long. She only confided in her family not two months ago. We found out around my birthday that she was terminal. She died on April 17th.
All of this pain and suffering would have been avoided had she had a hysterectomy when it all began or she had been vacinate… Continue
