Cheri said… - Hi Ricardo - Yes, the net carb thing is an Atkins aspect. I guess I didn't really think about why it was on Grace's log sheet and just copied it. I am a low carber - not as low as I was - but still low (anywhere from 10 to 30 per meal). I've been off a little bit a few times and I think this is why. For my body, a carb is a carb is a carb - although, I only eat carbs that are either veggies, high protein, or very complex carb. I'm going to try not deducting the fiber.

We all have to thank you for starting the thread.
Welcome to Club Dexcom. I also have one and it will become your new best friend. It may be frustrating at first, but if you get the hang of it you should be able to track within 10 - 20 points of your BG meter. For the first 6 months of my Dexcom use, I could consistently track within 5 points of my meter. Lately it has been more like 10 - 15 points and I am wondering if Dexcom changed anything in their quality control.
If you work out your TAG percentages and timing just right, you will be amazed at the control you have against high post prandial spikes after high carb meals.
