Ron Doyle replied to KevinS's discussion 'How long do you where your sensor?' in the group Dexcom Users
"The longest I went was back a year and a half ago when I started on the Dexcom. It was a little over 5 restarts. However, I have noticed that now I can get a max of 3 and it will fail (??? or bad readings) before the fourth. I have made it to the…"

My name is Marie and I just read your comment about not being scared of all the bad stories It feels so good when I come across people like you who are not treating diabetes like it's a death sentence cause I have been a diabetic since 10 and I just turned 32 on Saturday and I am proud to say that I have always had that altitude where I have taken care of my diabetes and have had some bad numbers along the way but I am in excelent health and do not have any complications at this point , but if the day comes that something does happen I just hope that it's when I'm married cause at the moment I am a single mom of a 4 year old and my worst fear is that if I do ever get sick I'll be alone and have no one to help me
