Originally diagnose Type 2, but after almost two decades my C-Peptide range qualified my for a Medicare funded insulin pump supplies. I had already bought my own pump because I was one one hundredth points above the qualifying score when I asked my doctor to
prescribe the pump after several years of injections. I met the qualifications one year after being on my pump in 2012.
