Unsweetened iced green (zen) tea with a splash of passion (tea)...delicious! And some stores were carrying a gluten-free Valencia Orange cake, which was relatively low carb (28) and fairly "pure" ingredients, for that occasional treat. :)

Ruth,

Both surveys (my husband's and my own) completed & returned to you via email this am. Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help, and have a great day!

Ken & Laura, Thanks so much!!! Laura, I've emailed the surveys to you. Ken, please let me know if you'd like to do the same, or if you have been able to download them from this site. I can't tell you how grateful I am to receive your time and knowledge via these surveys.

Together, you guys will put me into the double digits, at last!! :)))

Hello Ruth. I've emailed you asking to have the documents sent out via email. I was able to pull them off your posting, but was not successful at saving the completed survey properly so couldn't attach & return it to you. We'll try again with the emailed documents and I expect it will simplify the process a bit. The email address I wrote to you from is: lauraantulov@comcast.net

Of course I will be happy to help. Wife and I have been married for almost 30 years (over 30 if you count the time we lived together) and she has seen it all, well amost all of it, she hasn't had to deal with amputations, blindness or anything of that nature yet. We all know that they are always Yets. Eventually either you die in a fiery crash or in a wimper with the only the diabetes to blame. :P to the control freaks that think they can beat this task master. We only delay the inevitable.

Now, enough of the doom and gloom I hope this helps your research, I am sure that this is a topic that will generate a lot of discussions in at least 40 families.

Ken

FYI - before I head upstairs to make dinner - a few more questions. I am "trying" complete this form on my PC - but am unable to circle the answers - so finding this abit frustrating to say the least (do I have much patience ? LOL). How do participants get this form to you when/if they finish - as there is no mailing address (even tho' the consent form says there is no cost to the participant - for myself from Canada to post all these pages - if I have to print them up - will cost a fair bit). So, I am now going to walk away from this - and just wait your reply. Perhaps you have your quota of participants now as well.

I'm back from holidays. Trying to catch up on work. I just printed up the consent form (2 pages) - and then went to open up your other documents. The female version is THIRTY SIX PAGES. Do I have to print this up in order to fill out these pages, or do I have to print it all up? I'm not sure how many pages are in the male form, but if it's the same thing - not sure if I can do this survey as it's going to take up alot of my time. Especially since I'll have to scan all these forms to send back to you via one way or another. Please advise if you can. For now, I'm not sure what to do. Hope you understand.

Hey Ruthie - just wanted to let you know - haven't got around to going over the forms yet for your survey. Been busy past few days as I'm off on holidays starting tomorrow - so if you can wait abit longer - I promise to help you out. Just let me know if there is a definite deadline for when you need them to be done. Okay?
