Atleast I didn't gain any weight!!! I actually lost 2 pounds!!!! Next year I am having my A1C drawn before the holidays and not after!!!! LOL

LOL, well your cooked meals have to come out better than those microwave dinnerslol. I hate them things lol. Practice makes perfect. That's how I learned to cook. no one ever really taught me. Just experimented and made my boyfriend try my food LOL. Now there were times when we had to go get fast food because the food wasn't good at all... but hey now I can make some things that taste decent and are EDIBLE haha.

I can't believe she dumped you for being diabetic...that is terrible!

I never re-use lancets :) when I have used my meter to test other people's blood glucose, I have them go through the whole process themselves with my meter, like they would at a doctor's office. But thanks for the warning! Hope all is well.

You know Ryan...your post made me think and I did some additional reading...yes, you are right about the statins:) They are linked to higher rates of cancer. Seems that their benefit is in some component being an antioxidant...so, I guess looking at safe antioxidants may be a way to go. Let me know if you find out anything else. Take care.
