Hi my name is sarah and i was diagnosed in sept...not to long after you. i see you live in philly im from easton idk if you know where that is but its like an hour and a thirty mins north. anyway i was just wondering how you delt with being newly diagnosed and being a college student? i came home and im going to a school around me but im going to be a nurse and somtimes i wonder how am i going to balance all of this? you seem to be pretty proactive about this i mean your a1c is really good:)

Hehe, well, I'm actually a transplant. Lived in Chester Co. and then MontCo for almost 20 years. Living in Jersey isn't as awful as I anticipated, but I really miss my old stomping grounds. If you ever want to hang out with RL 'betics, let me know - I know some other people who're interested in getting together, like for lunch or something along those lines. The more the merrier and whatnot :)
