in my head i'm very confused. i felt being diagnosed with this was a punishment. i know it's not. i could have it much worse. i've now had diabetes type 1 for 5 years. i have sooooooooo much trouble with it. severe depression be the worst thing to trouble me. being unhealthy. knowing what will happen to me when i don't take care of myself. and i guess i feel i'm alone. but i'm not and i know it. i struggle to take care of myself. after i was diagnosed i was scared confused and angry. still am.… Continue

Welcome to our growing family Ryan!!! That's what we're here for! We will help in anyway we can! I have had d since 73 I don't know what you need help in but maybe I can! My oldest daughter is also a Type 1 so been through that one too. She now had a 1 yearold TODAY!! and is gonna have another in March!!!

Hi Ryan,

Welcome to the family. Sorry to hear you are having a tough time dealing with this. A lot of people are in the same boat as you. Addressing your issues and trying to correct it is a great step. This is a great support group and we are all here to help. So make sure to ask questions and share your experiences.

Just remember, you are not alone and this is something that is very manageable.
