Eeeekkkkkk Due Omnipod Tomorrow!!!!

Well tomorrow is the day I finally get my Omnipod after nearly five years of waiting and nagging my endo! I'm quite nervous and apprehensive now the day is actually here! Firstly I'm scared of all the new things ill have to learn and getting to grips with Carb counting! I'm also worried with regards to having something attached to me 24/7! NEED SOME CONTROL!!!!

Hi everyone as usual my diabetes is taking second place to everything else in my life! I need some control and I need help getting it!!



I'm due to get the omnipod in a weeks time the 9th to be precise and I feel I need to start carb counting and monitoring my sugars in preparation!



I read on here how amazing the omnipod is but I am still aware it will only work with what I give to it!



So has anyone out there got any advice or tips to starting again and getting… Continue

Date to finally start Omnipod

I will finally start my Omnipod on the 9th July yay! Although I am excited and hopeful after reading all the help and advice on here, I am still apprehensive and extremely nervous!



My sugars are rubbish at the minute due to stress! Mums in hospital with a broken hip so I'm constantly at the hosp and as always putting my diabetes last!



HELP!!!



Is there any advice or preparation I can do in the coming weeks before I start the Pod!!

Well I'm back after a looonnnggggg time away! I find out tomorrow whether I will be able to get the Omnipod finally after nearly three years of mithering! So can anyone give me any tips or advice for a new user??? All comments are welcome as I really need to sort myself out xx
