As a child, (diagnosed at age 7) I always saw adult diabetics with a lot of health issues in our diabetes classes. Because of this, I think I have always believed that I would never get old. I told my mom as a young adult that quality of life was better than quantity. I felt at that time that taking care of my diabetes was a hassle, that doing… Continue

Sorry I did not get back to you sooner, but I was at 15,000 ft skydiving, with my pump on. I have jumped with it on at 25,000 ft jumping out if a jet going 250 mph. I hope your jump went well, it was most likely from 10,000 ft and the pull the rip cord at 6,000 ft. I have done over 1,700 jumps in the past 8 yrs- I LOVE IT!

Welcome to the family! On this forum you will learn so much. Most of all you will learn that you are not alone. Everyone here is supportive and will provide answers to your questions. Search the site for answers. Read the discussions and blogs for information. There are videos to help you understand diabetes and its treatment. Most of all there is family to talk to and even to vent to, if needed. Welcome home.
