When I went on my pump I actually lost a lot of my tummy, it had ended up quite lumpy due to injecting 4/5 times a day, so when I changed from injecting to the pump all my lumps disappeared :)

UPDATE NUMERO UNO!!

my mom is a NAG...she freaks out if my sugar hits 160s. so i just don't tell her anything anymore. But don't say you don't have support. for one you can always talk to me. i mean i actually KNOW you in person. and two thats part of the reason i told you about TuD. its a site where you CAN talk to people and if you need any sort of help, advice , or support you can get it.
and with mike, i know i got lucky. but it helps that he has a chronic disease to. its called Addison's disease. If he doesn't take the pills his Endo has him on his heart will beat about three times to fast. so its kinda a mutual support.

- yea last year mine was at 13.3 and now i am down to 10.1 i mean its not a HUGE drop but its coming down.
my boyfriend is a big help though. he is always on me to take my insulin. and he actually has gone to a few appointments with me to learn about what i need and should be doing.
i hope you can get this in control. i know how it feels to be out of control and not only is it overwhelming but it makes you actually feel sick and just uot of energy.

like i said in the e-mails this is a pretty good site to use and its kinda just a place to come to to talk about diabetes problems or anything and everyone here just knows what you mean. when i signed up about a year ago it helped alot. i got my A1C from a 13 something now down to a 10.1 and it keeps getting lower each appt. everytime i needed to vent or talk to people i would sign on here and everyone was here to listen to me.
well i don't know when ur next appt is but i get to go see elsholz on the 28th....not looking forward to that appt. he kinda gives me the creeps....but i love talking with debbie she is amazing.
well i will talk to you later.
oh and
welcome to TuD. the only site where diabetics can talk about "shooting up" and not freak someone out by it..lol
