"I don't know, but it's interesting you mention that - my grandfather had ALS, though I don't believe he had Type 1 (though one of my aunts, his daughter, does). Now you've got me wondering too."

Has anyone heard of a correlation between T1D & motor neuron disease (ALS). I know about neuropathies, hands, feet, etc. but the motor neuron thing is a completely different animal. Am I the only one to have both? Anybody else?

I've Had Diabetes for Over 20yrs!

This group is for people out there who were born with or close to born with diabetes and have had it for a long time. I have had it for about 21yrs now and it's very hard to find people and talk to others who are dealing with the same issues I am.See More
