The pregnant diabetic

Okay, so being a type 1 diabetic for 20 years, you get exposed to all sorts of comments that aren't always nice, wanted, or even warrented. I am the diabetic that risked an unplanned pregnancy. No, I was not trying to get pregnant, I was even trying to prevent it, but I'm married and we took the risks we took and ended up pregnant.

Hi Sarah,

Love your photos! Your daughter is precious! And your dog is just adorable.

Realize this is a strange request & hope you don't mind my asking.

One of our members, Lois, is also in Milwaukee. Lois is in the hospital for three weeks with no family in the area & no one to visit her. She's really down. Several of us call her regularly, but we're far way. It's lonely being stuck there day after day all alone. Anyway, wondering if you might consider stopping by to help cheer her. I can send you the hospital address. Lois loves Tu D & does so much for everyone.

Thanks!

Hi Sarah,
Congrats on your second pregnancy! My first pregnancy was very difficult, but my second went great. My A1C was 5.8. Both of my children are healthy. How have you been feeling?

Hi Sarah. Nice to have you with us. That's a very cute kiddo and a mighty fierce looking pup.
Please stop over and join the Great Lakes Group. I like knowing who my neighbors are. I live in Minneapolis.
Welcome to Tu Diabetes.
