Why Do I Feel Like This?...

Lastnight I went to Zumba class and forgot toe snack before hand, I went hypo just before bed so I ate something sweet then went to sleep. When I woke up my BM was 20.6mmol/Ls. I put the carbs in for my breakfast and let my pump give me the extra bolus to bring me down. I've carb counted all day and my BMs have been running below 10. I should be so happy that I've had a good day but I don't, today is the first day I've actually felt depressed.

Coping with the pump...

I've had the pump for a few weeks now and I'm happy to say its going really well.
My average blood sugar according to the pump is around 15, I know its still high but the main thing is I am taking insulin with every meal now. It feels weird, I almost feel gulity that i am letting myself down. I know this is good for me and its what I need to do but its sooo hard. Part of me just wants to say enough, hand the pump back and go back to how I was.
But the other part of me sees all the… Continue

I recieved my insulin pump and I have never been so scared in all my life. Im nervous, I need this to work!
I've had to learn carb counting again, its been that long since i did it ive forgot basically everything. I went to a few meeting with my dietition to learn again and also look at more healthier foods.
I cant put weight back on again....

Waiting for my insulin pump....

While I was waiting for my appointment for my insulin pump I continued frequent sessions with my Psychiatrist. so I could talk through any concerns. My main concern of course being weight gain...
I was told that I would gain a little bit of weight when I started taking regular insulin again, but my Doctor gave me a prescription for metformin which will help my insulin work better and stop it from turning straight into fat.
