Hello all,
I have been trying to eat as I should and exercise 5 to 6 times a week for a little over 60 days now. I have my low carb meals and two snacks planned out almost every week day. I have not lost a single pound but I have lost 1 inch around my too thick waist and my too skinny legs are gaining some muscle.
As a vegetarian and a type 1 D, I feel isolated at work. My team mates always ops for fast food if I suggest going out to lunch if I do not want what I bagged for lunch…

I know a lot of you can relate to this blog entry. We try to start working out regularly but then sometime around the holiday season we get the yearly bug that goes around. We get knocked out of our routine and begin to see working out as drudgery rather than a great way to feel better about ourselves and relieve stress. Then we become busy with all the holiday stuff. How do authors get away with naming books, "Dr. Neal Barnard's Program for Reversing Diabetes: The Scientifically Proven System for Reversing Diabetes without Drugs " by Dr. Neal Bernard or "There Is a Cure for Diabetes: The Tree of Life 21+ Day Program" by Dr. Cousens? If diet would make our bodies capable of producing the right amount of insulin, type 1s would have been doing this a long time ago. I keep running into people who say I can cure my type 1 because of these books with there…
