I'm back

I broke my ankle on Jan 23 because one of the bp meds I was on cause my heart rate to go down too low and I passed out. I went to the emergency room the next morning and had surgery on my ankle on Jan 26. So now I'm in one of those fracture boots and using a walker.See More

Diabetic Cookbook

Posted on December 16, 2011 at 6:43pm 9 Comments

I have a few diabetic cookbooks and most of the recipes have foods that I never have or the protein amount is more than I need for that meal. I would like to find a cookbook that could really help me stay on a good eating plan and also had recipes that my son would like to. He's really not that hard to please. Also I am living on low income.

Welcome to the family! On this forum you will learn so much. Most of all you will learn that you are not alone. Everyone here is supportive and will provide answers to your questions. Search the site for answers. Read the discussions and blogs for information. There are videos to help you understand diabetes and its treatment. Most of all there is family to talk to and even to vent to, if needed. Welcome home.
