LADA on Symlin????

Posted on May 31, 2009 at 7:47am 1 Comment

I wanted to see if there is anyone out there who is has LADA and is taking symlin?? My specialist has stated that I am still in my "honeymoon' phase (sorry .....but this isn't exactly how I pictured my honeymoon.....oh well:) My fastings are still under a 100mg/dl but I'm having a bit of a problem with my post-prandials. I'm just curious if anyone has had any success with using symlin(without a mealtime insulin).

I saw the event you posted... I would be interested in diabetes get togethers at some point in the future but can't make it this week.
