That's great! I am also on cholesterol/asprin as a preventive. I am taking an ace inhibiter that also protects my kidneys and my boys are 100% so far. My trigger finger(s) come and go but haven't been bad enough for me to get any surgery. My left pointer "fixed itself" after last summer. I have a frozen shoulder that may require something, but it's on the left for me. I went to physical therapy but they only stretched and worked out the shoulder - I got increased range of motion but my WHOLE SHOULDER moves not the balljoint. The eye thing was a setback, and caused me great concern and anxiety because I've been so good for so long.

Hey keep up the great work and I wish you health for the next 100 years!

Hello Shawn,

Thanks for the comment, I'm from Mountain View, CA.

How is your pump treating you? When did you make the switch?

Hope all is well,
Ryan

Hi Shawn, my fav was clinitest! hey just out of curiousity... you don't have ANY complications? if you don't mind me asking... not even elevated blood pressure or wacky lipids? wow it must be that clean mountain air! I have all my bases covered but just found a prolific neuropathy at my last eye visit. caught it very early and already got it lasered... and am hoping for the best! Take care Shawn and thanks for writing back!

Welcome Shawn, I do love the the area that you live in, been there twice, snowed in once. I don't think that I could talk my wife into moving further north than we are now but if I could my first choice would be in the Larimie area.

Welcome to the site! It's nice to have another type 1 around. I love that A1c number. It's great! I go get mine done on Tuesday... I hope it's below 6. That's what I'm shooting for anyway.
This site has been wonderful for me. There are great people and it is nice to ask others about what they are dealing with. Sometimes you can learn lots of great stuff.
I also see that you are a pastor. There is a group called Christian diabetics. I am a member. Look it up and join. It's nice to find others with whom you have things other than diabetes in common with.
Once again, welcome.
