You know that is a good ideal. I use to write down memories, but kinda like a autobiography. I want to write this thing so bad so that I can leave something for my grandbabies. I have 4 and the 5th one passed away. I know there will be more cause 2 of my kids are childless until they finish college and the other is in the Navy. Taking it slow, but in time the family multiplies. LOL.

Greetings and welcome to the rabble Shirley....I see that your friend/relative was dx 2 days before Christmas. How awful. This is a great place to learn, all the while meeting new people and making friends.

I went thru alot in life that I really shouldn't be alive. So I truelly believe my experiences are what I am now a strong advocate against violence. But my true passion is here on Tudiabetes.

I'm really trying to pull myself together to write this book before I get any older. LOL.

Not sure how long it will take. Need someone I can trust to help on the book. All at the same time, want it to be a pleasant experience. Sure I could use the help on the book. Just need the motivation to start.

Thanks for you help, Patti

Welcome to tudiabetes, Shirley! I'm sure you will be a great contributor to this site, to spread the word about this disease. And yes, for us it's taking one day at a time. I've been on this site for over a year and a half, and I'm at my goal of what i was expecting from this site.

All the thanks to you for joining this marvelous family. Would like to know what kind of writing you do cause I'm interested in writing a book myself.

Again, thanks....Patti
