I had this strike about 1997 IIRC, after 41 years as a Type 1. Looked it up on the Intenet and found information saying it was "adhesive capsulitis", where the small lubricating capsules that are in between the joint ball and socket in the shoulde...

Hello I am a Type 2 since 2005, and I developed frozen shoulder about 14 months ago. The doctor said to just ride it out, and it would cure itself in 18 months to 2 years, but it would never have the strength and range of motion (ROM) that it had ...

Where to wear a pump at night ?

Hi Steve -
Thanks for the offer. We are still trying to decide whether or not to do the trip. Matt has a cousin who, along with his partner, own a bed and breakfast in Queenstown, NZ. We've designed out trip so that we spend a majority of our time in NZ with their B&B as our base and about one week in Syndey. I'll let you know if it all comes together.

I just recently found an endocrinologist who has a terrific Nurse Practitioner who used to work for Medtronic. She has taught me how to better utilize the features on my pump and I'm starting to see my A1C come down from the low nines...(ouch!).

Hi Steve -
Enjoyed your photos. My partner and I may be visiting NZ and Syndey in February. I am competely new to this site. It looks like you have been a member for a couple of years. Has it been of value? - Bob

Hey Steve, nice to 'meet' you! That's cool...you lived and survived Singapore for three years. Despite the crazy weather (it's so humid now!). I'd say my biggest temptation here is the food. Not particularly good for a diabetic, I'd say.

Hi Steve,
How do the pumps in the UK compare to the ones in the States? Are the models available?

I noticed on one of your post that you are trying to get funding for a pump. Is the pump or pump supplies covered by insurance in the UK?
