Hi Squibble----Love your kitty pix. We take in strays and get them cleaned up and fixed and try to find homes for them. There are always some too sick or to unsocialized and so we care for them into their dotage. At the moment we have 18, but 2 are senior senior and will leave us soon.......Take care...Judith in Portland

Hi Squibble,
Sorry it has taken me so long to get back on here. I just read your response to Manny on "share your story". I am so proud of you. You have been working so hard and obviously doing such an excellent job. Won't they all be so surprised when you go back for your checkup on the 20th? I don't understand why doctors and nurses don't expect people to do the best they can do to help themselves with their diagnoses.
Yes it takes extra energy and working on stuff to take care of ourselves, but we are worth it Ane we deserve anything nice that comes up.
Well, you deserve a huge hug and congratulations and i am so happy to be sending them right to you.
Blessings be to you Squibble.

As well as can be expected. I work two day shifts, one mid and two swing. Aren't 24 hour places fun to work for? I have been doing it for several years now, so I kind of like it. I just have to remember everyday what day it is and when I have to be where. I picked the wrong week to quit smoking crack. (lol) If you don't mind dirty comedies, Zach and Miri make a porno is out and really funny. Kevin Smith, the guy who did Clerks did this one. I like his work.

Have you seen the movie "Clerks"? Kind of old now, but a must see for anyone who deals with the public. I know what you mean about the boss. Mine is a stickler for write-ups and doing them by the book.

I'm an assistant mgr for a box office at the Excalibur Hotel. Putting up with customers can be trying (as you know), try not to let them get to you too much or it can affect your sugars. If you are not allowed to use a stun gun on the job (I can't), then valium helps. (kidding).

Man, diagnosed right before halloween. That sucks. I got diagnosed right after, so I never got to eat my final candy. Welcome to the group. What are you an assistant manager for?

Hi Squibble,
Just saying hi for today. There will be times i can't get on here, but there won't be a time when you are not in my prayers and thoughts. I am just letting you know i am still with you and wishing you good blood sugars and a good and peaceful night. Lack of sleep is also a trigger to make blood sugar rise higher. (Oh the things we learn) I hope each day becomes a little easier. Before you know it your first month will have gone by. And you will have made it that far. Don't think about next month just yet. One day at a time. Tomorrow will take care of itself. For now, today you have loving friends and family who care about you. Blessings be to you Squibble.
