Everyone else seems to have a diagnosis story posted and I do not seem to share mine with anyone... so here it is.

Yesterday was a stale cracker kind of day. I had a hard time most of the day keeping my blood sugar up. hmm... Anyway, I went running in the AM as usual. My husband and I are in the beginning process of adoption. It's very... weird and uncomfortable. To go through an agency, a representative came out to our house, took pictures, met our pets... They took down our total history of our lives... where we were born, went to school, where we've lived, happiest/saddest moments....... Our initial interview took about 4 hours. A few weeks ago, my friend, Chris, dutifully named my pump "Gizmo." Where the name comes from, I don't really know. But, poor Gizmo did not previously have a name, so it has stuck. I told him I would one day blog about the naming adventure... so now I have. =o)

My newest A1c. Yay!



I went in for my test as scheduled in July and kept putting off going back in for the results. Although, not because I feared the results... I just didn't have time and the new endo refused to tell me the results over the phone or to mail the results to me. Whatever...



So, I went in Friday, paid my $30 copay so I could stay for 10 minutes to get my results. I am happy with 6.8. It's definitely better than my previous 8.2! It's been a long time since… Continue
