What happens to the brain, and what does the future hold?

I have commented on this before - on another forum, and wonder if anyone here has anything to say/add. I have an issue with the bland descritions given for the symptoms of hypoglycaemia including "confusion". I do not believe that you can define the variations in our experiances as confusion.
