Steve replied to Dolores's discussion 'Whats the most annoying comment you've ever gotten about diabetes?'
"FedEx Freight made a policy stating diabetics must only check their blood sugars in a private location. I think those that check their blood sugar often should be applauded and not isolated."

Hi Steve: Have the lump checked out! Don't assume anything. How are you? Are you still using the CGMS? Is so, how is it working for you? Jan

Hi Steve: Wish you well with the CGMS. My endo was encouraging them two years ago but has quit no doubt due to the difficulties. I'm amazed that you were able to start yourself without help.

Hi Steve: I see that you have had CGM now for about a month. How is it going? Is it accurate for you? As you may remember it failed for me on accuracy. Are you adjusting? Jan

Steve---thanks for response! I'm just hoping to arrange a meet-up and the first step is figuring out where we all are, I think. So, please, if you have ideas for where or when, toss them out there! Even if all we do first is get together for coffee, tea and breaking bread together, I'd be pleased! Then we could brainstorm on what's next!

Hi Steve. Are you in Portland? I'm in North Portland. Are you going to the expo next month? Or I'm thinking a meet-up on TuD's 2nd anniversary in March might be fun!......Take care.....

Thanks for the comment Steve! It helps to know that if you persevere against the insurance co's that victory just might happen! Just keep your nose to the grind stone and wear them down...good luck to you! I love my cgms...my A1C is already down from 7.8 to 6.6 in the last 4 months :D !!
