Steve Fitzpatrick replied to artwoman's discussion 'Dexcom data and Diasend' in the group Dexcom Users
"I've posted this in other topics -- it's completely doable, though annoying. To get your Dex data into diasend, and be able to view it: When you register, you have to register as an international user. I'd suggest selecting Spain as…"

Steve Fitzpatrick replied to Scott Berger's discussion 'Recommendations for Diabetes Tracking Software?' in the group Geeks With Diabetes
"(caveats coming) I've been using Diasend (diasend.com) for the last month or so, and am pretty happy with it -- UX is reasonable, and a large list of supported devices. They have an uploader (both Mac and Windows, though I've only used the…"

Steve Fitzpatrick replied to Gayle Kodimer Mckenna's discussion 'NBC News shows a doctor with a Dexcom CGM hooked up to an IPHONE!' in the group Continuous Glucose Monitor Users
"Fwiw, this doesn't appear to be an iphone -- it's a sony ericsson of some vintage. Presumably an Android? I couldn't tell for sure, they have Android versions and windowsPhone versions. But, it would make little to no sense for Dexcom…"

Steve Fitzpatrick replied to Gayle Kodimer Mckenna's discussion 'NBC News shows a doctor with a Dexcom CGM hooked up to an IPHONE!' in the group Continuous Glucose Monitor Users
"Awesome to see. This has changed my strategy completely -- forget the animas ping (or other integrated pumps). I'm going to figure out the best pump on its own merits, and pair that with the eventual g5 on my phone. And until then, the g4 is…"

Steve Fitzpatrick replied to Dee Meloche's discussion 'Disappointed in the Ping' in the group Animas Insulin Pump Users
"The Ping tester sucks. It's huge, and slow. The remote control capabilities don't add up to enough for me to make it worth carrying around. I've been using my (very old) One Touch ultra for several years instead of the Ping. Just got…"

Steve Fitzpatrick replied to etta amy's discussion 'Insulet and Dexcom are no longer in a relationship' in the group Animas Insulin Pump Users
"My opinion, fwliw: it's not worth spending a ton of time worrying about CGM/pump integration. Based on the CES video someone linked to here (search for Dexcom CES on google), Dexcom is working on getting rid of the receiver, and letting people…"

Dexcom Users

Welcome to the family! On this forum you will learn so much. Most of all you will learn that you are not alone. Everyone here is supportive and will provide answers to your questions. Search the site for answers. Read the discussions and blogs for information. There are videos to help you understand diabetes and its treatment. Most of all there is family to talk to and even to vent to, if needed. Welcome home.
