When it comes to bolusing are you a pessimist or an optimist? I think that for the first year on the pump I’ve been a pessimist because if I wasn’t quite sure of the carbs in a food then I would bolus less than I should have. I recently went to my endo and she yelled at me to bolus-bolus-bolus for all food that I intake!! Since then my numbers have been better especially when I go out to eat or somewhere else where I’m not quite sure how the food was made. I’ve learned that I must bolus a…

I was working in the yard this weekend and was sweating to the point where my pod on my abdomin came very loose and I had to replace it. I had just put it on that morning. I guess it's just another thing to be aware of using the Omnipod!!

Pammie said… Hi - don't have mine yet, but have been to the hospital today to start the education process. Hospital are still awaiting funding approval - luckily in the UK we don't have to buy medications for diabetes. I am really keen to just get on with it now!! Any negatives?
