google search. i was looking for some support groups i can log into at home to help me take care of my 6 year old and somewhere private to vent and cry and hopefully laugh alot!

four months now!

It's been four months since abby's bad news. this week has been hard. she went high. we had to adjust her meal ratios and up her lantus.

scared. helpless. frustrated. small. that's how i feel when she hits highs. i hate her having db. i try not to think about it much. it may not be healthy, but i cope. one meal at a time. one day at a time. i do not research what effect bad diabetes management has on a body. i don't want to know. i would be even more scared when i see those numbers. i know the… Continue

Hang in there mom! There are a lot of other mom's here who can give you good advice. I am not experiencing the mom part of it, but I do have T1 myself. I can just offer encouragement, and tell you it's been 16 years now and no complications. Stay involved and educated, but don't beat yourself up over it. I'm sure you are doing a great job!

I'm sure it is difficult especially with young ones,I just found this site so I hope that we can all support each other and hopefully find more information to pass amongst us.
