A New Year....already 2012!!!
I have made SO many friends here at tu., some I meet daily, some I meet frequently.
Some...occasionally. No matter, I have been supported and have felt loved.
I don't know how I managed before "coming home"...but here is where I belong :)
Tu.diabetes is my second family...here, I need not explain nor defend myself. Here,
I am free to be me ♥ Thank you for your friendship.
So....HAPPY AND BLESSED NEW YEAR Sweetgirl......

You're welcome Sweetgirl. My Torontonian years were from 1974 to 1979. I love Toronto for all that it offers, and it's a beautiful city (but nothing compares to Québec City in my mind)...anyhow...I married in '79, and when my hubby and I would visit my brother and his wife in Kichener/Waterloo we were struck by its quaint beauty (Kitcnener NOW has mushroomed), and were taken by the pods of smaller communties nearby, that boast of cafés and adorable little shops. So,we packed up...and off to Waterloo we moved. We now are in Kitchener. Toronto is but an hour or so away...so can access whichever play/ballet/activity etc or visit frequently. To be connected to a relative of Fred Banting would just feel so "right"....wonder if that relative has the same personality as Fred. Manny Hernandez(Co-Founder, Editor, has LADA)
