I was diagnosed with Pre-Diabetes about 1 1/2 yrs ago. I also have mild CAD. (No heart attacks or stents, thank god)I find myself taking 5 pills in the morning and 5 at night. For being pretty healthy that seem's like a lot for me. I'm starting to get in the dumps (stress at work and home, I know what else is new). I no longer feel like taking my meds when I need to.Help!!See More

I'm confused

Ok, I'm confused. I went to a diabetic program yesterday (which my insurance suggested would be a good thing) to gain more insight as to how many times to test and how celiac will effect this. However, once the class began I started receiving funny looks from the nurse. There were 2 other people in the class, one man just found out he was diabetic with an a1c over 10 and a bg in his md's office over 500. The other one I believe has been diabetic for a couple of years, but never tests himself. As…See More

I was diagnosed with Celiac in 2003 and now Diabetes. My husband is the type of person who can eat anything and not have it effect him. Unfortunately for me, I also have metabolic syndrome.

Even though my hubby/family are very supportive and would do anything for me. I feel so alone and outcasted.
