I can sure sympathize with everything happening all at once. Eric was diagnosed one day after my prize Morgan filly had to be put down with a broken leg—I had spent what I thought was the worst day of my life dealing with that, only to be thrown totally for a loop by the diagnosis and the night in the ER. Then, just when I got out of the hospital and started to get my life back together, one of my other horses went nutso in the training arena and broke a mirror, cutting himself up--thank heavens he wasn't seriously hurt and will recover, unlike the filly. It was unquestionably the worst week of my life.

Tiffany- I am glad that the blog is of some use to someone- I can empathize so well with feeling like too many things have happened at once, and diabetes is a huge think to comprehend. My heart goes out to you, as a fellow parent of a little one.. how does she do with the shots?
My parents live in Woodinville, it's only about 15 minutes from me.. I would LOVE to meet you, and your darling girl! Hang in there, Mom! We can do this. We have each other to keep our selves strong. My email is jenmer@gmail.com, if you'd like to contact me directly -anytime, I'd love it!
Hugs!
