"Hey, there is actually a new NovoPen out there that shows you how long ago you took your last shot. Got it recently from my doc, I am using Levemir too. It is called NovoPen Echo, at least in Germany. Might be an option worth checking out."

Hi all,

I have bee diagnosed with Type 1 in November 2001 after a long journey of clear symptoms, but neither me or my family nor a specialist doctor I went to because of my dry mouth, ever thought about diabetes. I actually had no glue of what diabetes was back then. When I finally got diagnosed by my gp, I was immediately transferred to the hospital where i spent one week getting introduced to insulin etc and another week of going there for a course of how to manage my diabetes. After that and for the first years I mainly lived with it without having contact with other people with type 1. I hope to change this here and get in touch with more people with diabetes.
