The internet has scattered photo's from Diabetes pre-2000...but nothing organized. This group is basically to share photo's of Diabetes from yesteryear. Our Diabetes memories must not be forgotten!

nunnurse said… - Hi Tim, my fasting bs was 210. My screen name is nunnurse because i work the evening shift as a nurse at the convent. I am a LPN and we have an area in the motherhouse that is devoted to the retired sisters. They are a hoot and I love them all! Our average age is the mid 80s to 100. Prayer def works and the rosary is a meditation, lol. My last a1c was 8.7, yikes!

handling our daily diabetic lives. I did have the "education course" when I was dx'ed, but
that was 11 years ago. Now I just handle my daily life mostly by myself. Of course, my
doctor does do A1c's every 4-6 months and provide me with my Rx's. I calculate my doses
myself. Latest A1c is 6.3.
