I really like the new PDM - I was having a hard time readuing the screen of the old PDM in low-light situations (at a restaurant, etc.), and when attempting to turn on the backlight, I usually managed to turn the PDM off instead. The color screen ...

I was able to load, and run, CoPilot utilizing Crossover; however, the OmniPod extension was not recognized after I downloaded it. So close, but this is way more of a pain in the rear than it ought to be.

I got mine too today, but with no skin. When I called Insulet to order it, they are not available, told me to call in a few days.

Yeah I'm really stoked about Cali, but I'm definitely a little nervous...What the schedule of events look like while at camp? Is it mostly biking, or the other sports too? And I don't have much winter riding gear...I just ride inside on the trainer--so I guess my other question is: how much training is outside, and/or how's the weather this time of year? :-) one more quick one: how are you shipping your bike? W/ you on the plane, or to the bike shop? I've never travelled w/ my bike in this manner, andas I don't have a bike box yet, I am just trying to decide if I should rent a bike box or go with the UPS option...hope that's not too many questions, and thanks for the help!!

Hey Tim, are you still on TT1? I was just selected to be on the tri team for the 09 season, and I'm pretty stoked about it! I read your reply about what type of bikes you ride in the cycling forum, and then saw your photo w/ the jersey, etc. Anyway, if that's the case, I assume you'll be at the training camp in a few weeks--I'll be there, so I look forward to meeting you!

Hi Tim, I love to ride. I also love what Team Type 1 does, I'm working with some local folks out here in Ohio to try to start something similar. Since NE Ohio seems to be a diabetes hot spot for diabetes I figure why not see what kind of awareness and support can be raised!!! Take care and happy cycling!!!

That's right. I just left for Blacksburg. It's really beautiful here :) I was a little bummed that I just missed the walk for Diabetes, as there really isn't anything like that in this area.

Hi Tim,
I think that we had the same endo. I was living in Richmond until just a few weeks ago and my endo, Dr. Berger mentioned to me that she had another patient on the Omnipod that was on Team Type 1. Welcome!
